CLAY 2: INTERMEDIATE (Session 1) Thursdays [May – June]

Thursday Evenings, 6:30pm – 8:30pm

8 Weeks – $345

Clay II is appropriate for students who have taken Clay I and are looking to expand their clay experience.

Instructor will introduce new topics, such as lidded forms, pots, making multiples, and larger vessels.  Further investigation is given to glaze techniques, such as working with slip, stains and wax resist.

    Carli has been teaching adult clay classes at Clay Dreaming for 6 years and loves helping students move past the basics into more advanced projects and learn to throw with a clear vision and purpose in mind. Her personal favorite pottery projects are typically functional pieces that one can eat or drink out of (while marveling in the beauty that is a handmade work of art). Outside of the studio she is a full time middle school special education math teacher and mama to a lively and adorable 2 year old girl. Carli is also the artist behind WandsUpCeramics
