Handbuilding 1: Functional & Sculptural (Session 2) Fridays [July-August]

This class gives best methods for the basics of Handbuilding and covers pinch, coil, and slab construction.
Both functional and non-functional work is considered. Students will learn how to sketch basic forms and translate their ideas/drawings into 3-dimensional forms. Surface decorating and glazing techniques are also presented

Doris RichardsonInstructorDoris is a local artist from Beverly who enjoys teaching as much as they enjoy making. Doris has been instructing at Clay Dreaming since 2017 in both Children Classes and Adult Classes. They also teach glass fusing.
