Teen Clay

Whether your teen is a beginner or they’ve been coming here since they were in Little Fingers, this 6 week program is an excellent option for teens interested in clay! Students will be in a group of their peers and will be introduced to handbuilding, the wheel, as well as surface decoration, painting, and glazing! Has your teen been coming here for years? Our instructor will show them some more in depth and creative choices when it comes to designing their pieces.
Artistic minded teens can find a new medium to try their hand at with other like minded individuals!

Angela CookInstructorAngela Cook enrolled in her first ceramic class at the age of eight and began her lifelong journey in clay and her passion for the art. She enjoys bringing out that creative spirit in others and has been instructing the Teen Clay Class and participating as a studio potter at Clay Dreaming for over 10 years. She draws a strong inspiration from nature and that is evident in her botanical and faux bois pieces. “Nature gives us so many wonderful tools for free, it’s hard not to be inspired”
